The relationship between dragon breeds and specific provinces forms the backbone of Navarrian society.

In Navarre, dragon dens are distributed across provinces that align with the historical “Six Pillars,” ranging from rare Black dragons in the southwest of Tyrrendor to the Brown dragons of northwestern Luceras. The Blue dragons favor the southern warmth of Soudra, while Green dragons reside near the heart of the kingdom in Deaconshire, and the volatile Red and unpredictable Orange breeds occupy the eastern Calldyr cliffs and central Elsum valleys.

Brown Dragons: somewhere in Luceras or Emerald Sea
Green Dragons: Steelridge Mountains near Basgiath College
Orange Dragons: valley of Northern Esben
Red Dragons: limestone cliffs along the Dunness River
Blue Dragons: close to Corydon
Black Dragons: Aretia

A dragon’s tail type is the primary weapon and critical indicator of its specialized combat role. Ranging from the crushing force of a Clubtail to the sharp precision of a Swordtail to the devastating impact of a Morningstar, tails dictate a dragon’s tactical usefulness and political seniority within the Empyrean.

Daggertail: agile and precise
Swordtail: seasoned and battle-hardened
Morningstar Tail: rare and deadliest
Feathertail: juveniles and averse to violence
Clubtail: crush with massive force
Scorpiontail: poisonous tip

  • Hedotis: A city rebuilt 150 years ago for efficiency. It is associated with the color purple and “zakia” berries.
  • Zehyllna: Built skyward at the base of a waterfall; inhabitants wear orange robes.
  • Loysam: Located south of Zehyllna; serves as a resupply point for travelers.
